Geert embarked on a mission to bring locally grown produce, wellbeing, and food security to urban communities, through agriculture technology. As a Cofounder of Farmwall, he plays a pivotal role in developing innovative vertical farming solutions that not only address the challenges of limited and underutilised spaces, but also champion alternative agriculture practices and wellbeing.

Exploring the anthropological & ecological relationships that present themselves in today's society, Haley is passionate about creating opportunities that build awareness around agriculture, and how it can be used to promote wellbeing in areas that are otherwise disconnected from the food journey and nature.
Her dedication to community wellbeing is evident in her work, combining her corporate indoor plant experience, geographic insights, and storytelling prowess to champion sustainable urban agriculture. Jessica Ong
Intern
With a passion for food and gardening, Jessica picked the course that allows her to study both – a Bachelor in Agriculture. Having grown up in the suburbs and a city, Jessica has found it challenging to find the space to grow her own plants & food, but believes there is space to utlise the city scape for agriculture.
Jessica is active in the urban agriculture space and is strengthening communities using plants, especially fresh produce, at the core of what she does. Promoting this narrative in her work, Jessica believes this understanding can have a huge impact on reducing food waste, building resilience, and leaves a lot of potential for agriculture in our concrete jungles.
Aisha Bhattarai
Intern
As a student completing her Masters in Sustainability, Aisha is a climate change advocate who is passionate about fostering sustainable practices within communities, bridging the gap between locals and research.
Aisha developed a passion for farming early on and saw a space that could improve siginicantly, both economically and sustainably. Her work investigates sustainable food production technologies and how educational models can be developed to assist communities. Aisha wants to see the farmers feel supported and empowered, serving communities through climate change and sustainability advocacy.
